01
A security assessment that needs to answer what could happen next.
Establish what a compromised account can reach, which defenses respond, and where remediation will make a practical difference.
Secure Data Solutions · Founded 2007
Understand your exposure. Make the right changes with evidence behind them.
SDS brings cybersecurity architecture and hands-on engineering to the systems your business depends on. We test attack paths and defenses, resolve complex infrastructure problems, and build private AI environments with clear operating controls.
What we take on
A useful starting point for the exposure, difficult change, or operational gap in front of you.
01
Establish what a compromised account can reach, which defenses respond, and where remediation will make a practical difference.
02
Plan network, firewall, identity, and application changes together, with validation and recovery steps defined before the cutover.
03
Trace the activity through network telemetry, security controls, and alert routing so the team can understand what it is seeing and where visibility is missing.
04
Define how the infrastructure runs, what an agent can access, who approves consequential actions, and how failures are detected and recovered.
SDS connects assessment, architecture, and hands-on engineering with the evidence needed to judge the result.
What we engineer
Specialist depth across security, infrastructure, and private AI, with practical guidance your operating team can use.
Test practical attack paths and the defenses intended to contain them. Connect configuration review, prevention and detection evidence, remediation guidance, and scoped retesting.
Breach Containment & Detection Validation →Bring experienced engineering to the full environment: routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, identity, virtualization, storage, and data centers. Plan difficult migrations, resolve problems across systems, and validate the result with the team that will operate it.
Explore network and systems engineering →Bring network and endpoint evidence into agent-assisted investigation and remediation planning. Build workflows with defined permissions, human review, and traceable activity.
Agentic security operations →Build the infrastructure around the model: compute, serving, access, monitoring, and recovery. Give the operating team visibility into whether the services and their dependencies are working.
Private AI infrastructure →How we work
We follow dependencies through assessment, design, implementation, and validation. Each engagement defines the work, who owns production changes, and how the result will be checked.
Eddie Espino's career experience · SDS founded in 2007
SDS founder Eddie Espino brings 25 years of consulting across more than 200 distinct technology and cybersecurity environments. Repeated exposure to different businesses, architectures, and operating teams has built the judgment to ask useful questions early, follow the dependencies, and work through difficult technical decisions.
Selected SDS engineering
Examples of SDS engineering across networks, recovery, and security operations.
01
Modernized a college campus from a 10 Gb to 40 Gb core, replacing and reconfiguring switching, routing, access infrastructure, and firewalls in a fault-tolerant design.
02
Engaged by a new client after a ransomware attack to lead containment and technical recovery across virtualization, compute, storage, Windows, Citrix, SQL, firewalls, and VPN dependencies. The work continued into rebuilding, upgrades, and hardening.
03
Built agent-assisted workflows that combine security telemetry to identify threats and configuration drift and prepare remediation plans. Created an AI stability dashboard with live health checks and recovery controls for approved components.
